Human Remains Identified 22 Years After Being Found
The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office Cold Case Unit has identified the victim of an unsolved homicide dating back to 2002 through the use of DNA technology. The man's remains were found just off Zemel Rd. in Charlotte County.

WARNING: SENSITIVE CONTENT Sgt. Dave Musgrove was travelling on SR776 when he was passed by a motorcycle going at a high rate of speed. Less than 10 seconds later, the crash occurred, killing the motorcyclist and leaving a six-month-old unresponsive. Thanks to Sgt. Musgrove, that baby is alive today.
